Financial
There is no reason to put off braces due to cost. It is our mission to provide you with high-quality treatment that fits your budget! Let us show you the many ways that braces can fit in your budget. We are please to offer the following financial solutions to make your orthodontic treatment more affordable:
- Assignment from most insurance providers. We will assist our patients in filling out any necessary paper work. Please choose from options 2-4 below for your account balance.
- 5% instant cash discount if paid in full prior to start of treatment. Can be paid with a personal check (verified by Verisign) or electronic transfer bank draft.
- Capital One Healthcare Finance. This national lender has created low monthly payments plans to fit your budget. Telephone approval within minutes. No discount.
- Visa® or Mastercard® credit card payments. No discount.
We are sorry that we cannot accept divorce decrees as assignments of responsibility for a child’s or former spouse’s orthodontic bills. The parent or legal guardian accompanying the child must pay for contracted orthodontic services and seek reimbursement from the other parent.
Insurance
Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. As a service to our patients, we will bill your insurance company for services and allow them 45 days to render payment. We are happy to assist you with reviewing your orthodontic insurance benefit while the simple checklist below may help you answer most of your questions prior to your first visit to our office. The balance of your account not covered by insurance is paid prior to the braces/appliances being placed. You may choose from one of the convenient and affordable solutions provided above.
Prior to your first visit, please take time to complete the patient information forms, which can be downloaded and printed from the Forms page of this web site. Our staff can send all forms to your home or office mailing address if you prefer. Completing these forms prior to your arrival can begin your first visit without delay. If you have orthodontic insurance coverage, please bring the paperwork so that we may assist you in filing for reimbursement from your insurance carrier. We encourage you to contact your insurance company prior to your first visit and ask the following questions:
- Do I have orthodontic coverage?
- What are my benefits?
- Is a pre-treatment estimate required?
- Does the insurance company pay automatically?
- Does my insurance coverage pay fully in advance or by installment?
- If paid by installment, do I need to resubmit an invoice after each visit, quarter, etc?
